Thalassaphobia is a short, immersive horror experience created for the Brackey's Game Jam 2023.2. Our intention with the game was to tap into the feelings of claustrophobia, panic and helplessness that the deep ocean invokes. This is the first title created by the incredibly talented developers here at Down Hill Games. We hope that you will enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed making it.
It takes many notes from games like Iron Lung, the FNAF series, and I Expect You To Die and puts it's own spin on their ideas.

Note: Some people have reported the game opening on the wrong monitor. To fix this issue, press ALT+ENTER keys to go to maximized window, move it to your desired monitor and press ALT+ENTER keys again to enter fullscreen. This change will persist after your play session. Sorry for the inconvenience. <3

Install instructions
1. Unpack the game files.
2. Open the Thalassaphobia file from inside.
3. Double-click the Thalassaphobia.exe file to open the game.
4. Enjoy!
